VEHICLE SAFETY RECALL (EMISSIONS RELATED) ? P5203 & P5206
Nissan Motor Company (Australia) Pty Ltd is recalling the Nissan X-TRAIL vehicles listed below for rectification of the following condition:

Description of Problems
P5203: Heat deterioration may occur inside of the Catalytic Converter when it is repeatedly exposed to excessively high thermal load. This could result in Breakage of the Catalytic Converter honeycomb.

P5206: The weld zone of the O2 Sensor Boss (physically part of the exhaust manifold) may be damaged. If the vehicle is not repaired and driving continues, the O2 Sensor Boss may be broken.

Affected Vehicles
The VINs of the Affected Vehicles lie within the following ranges:
P5203: JN1TBNT30A0 014793 to JN1TBNT30A0 024706
P5206: JN1TBNT30A0 000006 to JN1TBNT30A0 017012

Recommended Action
Owners of affected vehicles have been notified by mail at their last known address. Owners should contact any Nissan Dealer to arrange rectification of their vehicle. This will be carried out at no charge to the owner of the vehicle.
Nissan regrets the need to conduct this recall, which has been initiated in the interests of ongoing customer satisfaction and continued product reliability.
